Position Overview
PromiseAlliance is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to maintain financial records, track transactions, and ensure accurate reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, accounting knowledge, and proficiency with bookkeeping software. This role is fully remote and critical to the financial health of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and reconcile daily financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and receipts
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and financial documentation
- Prepare reports on income, expenses, and account balances
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable
- Assist in payroll processing and tax compliance
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Identify discrepancies and propose solutions in a timely manner
Qualifications
- Proven bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment
- Familiarity with payroll and tax regulations is a plus
